How is the visability in the mirrorows with the Wild 1 575's?

 

You can buy WO575 at most dealers for $215. Check out their web site. All 1 1/4" bars are double wall. Great quality. I'm very satisfied.

 

I would be willing to bet, this forum could do a whole section on just this one question that gets ask over and over

need help with choosing bars ...

I have been on Fat Boys, Wide Glides, EG's and RG's

I have used stock bars, Wild1's 513,575 and 517's

This is a question that has Way too many parts to it.

First off - how tall are you?

what is your Arm reach?

stock seat or someting like a Custom Corbin?

Do you like drag bars - pull back or Apes?

I am 5'6" with a short arm length

My step son is 6'2" and arms like an ape, lol


To really answer this question for someone - they really need to go to some sort of bike showing and look for bars and sit and try them out..


I agree - comfort is the MOST important issue when riding for any distance... If you just do short rides - then most any bar will work - IF you plan to Tour.. It will take some work on your part.

I have riden my EG with the Wild1 575 for some time and they worked pretty good... But I really did not like the wide reach and started to look around..

I found Flanders and now I am set...

If you have a decent arms reach, the I would suggest you find a bike with the 575 on it and give it a try.. I LOVE the look of the chubby bars..

 

I, too am a short-armed rider. I put Wild 1 575 bars on my streetglide and love them. They do not interfere with the fairing mirrors which I liked. I had to change the clutch cable to a +4", everything else worked.

 

I have the bike in the picture and an 04 Ultra and have Klockwerks ERGO Ups on both and really like them. They are 2" up and a much more comfortable angle. They also make a stock height and a 2" closer for shorter reach.
