Default Fuel mileage and pcv

on the way home today we all stopped in LulingTX on I10. we left there heading east on I10 to Sealy tx about 90 miles.
we all stopped (including the tow vehicle and travel trailer) it had a water pump leak.

while stopped i decided to fill up..
90.4 miles / 1.927 gal = 46.9 MPG

this is riding 1 up and loaded set cruise at 70mph and moderate hills
i have gotten 43-44 with 2 up...just wasn't expecting 47mpg

Not bad at all, I have have an 09, Ultra, went two up this past weekend, did 33.2 mpg, but bike is bone stock, and brand new still breaking in, if that has anything to do with it? But good for you anyway, may have to consider a PC-V

wow, great fuel mileage. my 08 streetglide, sock except for the stage 1 download, rinehart slip ons, screamin eagle air cleaner was getting 42-44 mpg till i installed the pcv. i'm down to about 32-34 mpg. same riding style. setting the cruise at 70 or less, solo rider, not loaded down while riding ever. first map, sent with the pcv was wrong, no biggie, they sent me another one which was supposed to be right for my bike. my pcv will end up collecting dust in the shop. going to go back to the setup i had before the pcv. it felt a bit torquier with the pcv, but honestly, it had plenty of power with just the stage 1, screamin eagle air cleaner and rineharts. the pcv makes it feel like it's runnning, "fat". when something doesn't work, i'm done with it.
