Pegless heel shifter?

Pegless heel shifter?
Ok, I am probably speaking a blasphemy here, but one guy I work with (against my advice) bought an 06 yamaha roadliner. Not a bad motorcycle, per se, but difinatly an aquired taste from the looks department.
But one neat function is the heel shifter dont have a peg. It has a small bump , looking for all the world like half a spoon turned upside down.
I like to keep the heel shifter, but I find that when I pull my feet off the hiway bars to upshift, I wind up landing on the shifter arm, rather than the peg most of the time anyway. I was considering just removing the shifter peg and covering the hole with a chrome plug, but I think the yamaha style shifter would look better.
Does anyone know if anyone makes something like it for harley FLH's?
thanks!
Tim
