Default Can't get air suspension lines to seal...

I had to replace the neck bearing in my 99 FLHR. Which means the front end had to come apart. Which means the air suspension lines had to be disconnected.
Well now I am trying to reconnect the air lines and they will not reseal in the fittings. I get one side in and the other side leaks or vice versa. The fittings are the type where you pull the little red neck back and remove the hose. To reconnect you bottom out the hose into the fitting and push the little red neck onto the hose.
Does anyone have any tricks to getting the fittings to seal onto the hose? I'm dying here without being able to ride.
And yes I did say "red neck" a couple of times. It's all good, cuz I am one.

Default RE: Can't get air suspension lines to seal...

These are presto-loc fittings. Must probably the ends of the line is too smooth or worn out. I would try to rough up the end a little with sand paper or if possible remove about 1/4" from each end if the line is long enough. Also make sure the end is still nice and round.

Wost case you may have to replace the lines.
