Well, maybe the Wal Mart $10.00 compressor and some rope patches w/rubber cement is a good addition as well.

It doesn't matter WHAT you ride.........just as long as you ride!

So, did you ride that thing up into the back of the TRUCK?

I always have a plug kit. I also carry the H-D rear air shock pump which should be capable of putting enough air in the tire to get where you need to go. BTW, what is wrong with running a plugged tire? I ran one on my last Dyna for about 5000 miles without a problem. The plug was in the meat of the tire just a little off the center.

Here's my kit:

1). HOG membership with Roadside assistance option ($19 more per year) covers all towing to closest HD dealership.

2). Cellphone
I agree on both 1 and 2 . but for #3 do not use fix a flat in a spoke wheel . it does something to the tube.I was on a trip with a few friends and one got a flat on the rear tire so he put in the fix a flat and started down the road doing about 40 to 50 mph. and all of a sudden the back end started to wobble and the tire exploded ....... he manage to get it to the side of the raod without putting it in the ditch . Thank God , come to find out when he was having the tire changed the service guy had told us that he had seen where the tire caught fire on somebody else. So don`t use the stuff in tubed spoke wheels ..... use your cell phone and call a tow truck. Sorry for my long 2 cents. Ride Safe and often !Steve from Az.

Great question, harley, I too ride on laced wheels on my flhtc, now I know what kind of emergency kit I need to put together along with "Road America" on my speed-dial. Hope you got some helpful answers,...ride safe

Plug Question - Do you perform a plug repair leaving the wheel/tire on from the outside?
