Thanks everyone!
I'm also looking forward to being able to have a passenger. I think it will be great to head out for weekend trips with the wife or son. The son is apprehensive but excited. The wife is very apprehensive but I think she'll warm up to it.
I don't blame them really. There's no way in hell I'd get on the back of a motorcycle ;-)

Sweet ride!!!!! I really like those Ducati's too, I'm sure that was kind of tough. Too bad you couldn't have kept both.

Welcome to the club. I traded a Kawasaki Concours for my 08 EGC last year. I am more comfortable and more confident in my riding.
