Had them on for 22k miles w no problem. Would like to index my plugs also but can't find the washers for 12mm plugs? I always replaced wire and coil on the EVO but I haven't seen upgraded coils for the twin cam so maybe HD improved them? With all the SERT I hate to mess with it.

I just replaced the original stock wires on both bikes with Magnecor's. You can get a significant discount on them through cyberauto.com. Not listed on their web page, of course, but just call them up and give them the Magnecor part number you want and they will drop ship them at around a third off MSRP. I have Magnecor wires on my 20v 4AGE, Esprit Turbo, the two bikes, and I bought all of them through cyberauto.

Default Magnecor Wires for HD

Gonna test this theory - read about the knock sensor concern on other forums & had Magnecor on my 05 Sportster (gr8 improvement). Ordered a set for the new 09 Street Glide & plan to install w/Dobeck TFI. We'll see how it works out.

I've run the SE Colored wires in both my bikes and haven't had any issues. The quality of the stock wires seems a bit cheap.

Go look at your mechanics bike, I bet $100 they're stock. Absolutely no benefit ... if you want to burn your money, send it to me.

I beg to differ - you might want to do a little research from Magnecor's website: http://www.magnecor.com/magnecor1/main.htm

Go to "The Truth about Ignition Wire Conductors" & pay attn to EMI suppression & conductors w/how they affect spark. You might be suprised by how these factors alter electronic charge through wiring. How do I know - I'mm a COMM guy & run wire for a living. There's a huge difference on how electrons travel through different wire material (i.e. copper vs. glass/fiber optic). Magnecor's wires are like upgrading your house fm copper to fiber...

Plus, they're not $pendy at all ($46 for my 09 SG) - you've probably got some accessories that cost more & didn't improve your bike's performance.
