Question Wheeldock

Any of you guys buy one of those wheeldock thingys for parking your scoot in the garage? I have limited space and the bike leans over so far on the jiffy stand it's hard to get around. Also I thought it would be easier to clean.

The Wheeldock centre stand is a great addition. Very easy to put on the stand, excellent to clean the rear wheel, just put a thin sheet of plywood under the stand and it lifts the rear of the bike just enough to let the rear wheel spin freely. If you are travelling, allows you to top up the fuel better than on the jiffy stand. Friend of mine ordered one for his 08 SE Ultra after he got on mine to see how easy it was. Worth every penny I spent on it. btw, signature pic is old one prior to installing it.

Thumbs up

Got one on my 09 Ultra, and wouldn't be with out it. Great for oil changes and just cleaning the scoot. Just make sure you try to park at a little down angle when getting gas. I found if you hold the front brake, and rock and squeez the brake it will roll off the stand. If is going on a 09,or 10 make sure the BOW TIE brace under the engine is not bent up from jacking up the bike.

Good Luck

I've had mine for over a year and absolutely love it. I use it 99% of the time & it's great for the limited space in my garage. I rarely use the jiffy stand anymore.

I have one on my '09 Ultra and love it. You can install in in 10 minutes or less and Wheeldock has great customer service.

Easily one of the best things I have purchased for my bike so far!

I am selling mine... it is for an 09 - 10. The roads where I live (outside of New York City) are too treacherous for me to give up any ground clearance, unfortunately, but I loved it when I used it - especially in the garage!! It doesn't look perfect because it has scraped in the turns - the outside corners where it hit the ground have been rubbed a bit, but you can't see any of that when looking at the bike. The main part you see, the polished steel part you push with your foot to get the bike up on the stand is in excellent shape. That said, the stand works flawlessly. If interested, I am going to let it go for $185.00, shipped. They are normally more than $100.00 more. Let me know here, or via pm at roadkingkamchi@yahoo.com

Love my Wheeldock center stand- a plus for the garage- One health warning" make sure you leave the bike in gear and side stand out" just in case a garage gremlin strikes.

Ok, I don't think he's talking about the center-stand for bike, I think he means the actual WheelDock you park your bike into, right? I have three, one for each bike. Real convenient and wouldn't be able to park all three in the garage if I didn't use them. For that? Too cool! However, there are a couple minor design issues I keep forgetting to call Rod about. One, these things have VERY sharp edges on them, watch your ankles when walking around them. I think I can say OUCH in four languages now even though I only speak one! Minor of course. The real issue we deal with every time we use them (every ride) is when you depress the locking mechanism as you would when you're about to remove the bike from the unit to go ride, it slides BEHIND the foot-release-lever instead of on top off it and it jams. If the foot-release-lever stayed in position (it doesn't, but would if Nylock nuts were used), then the locking mechanism (U-shaped hoop) works just fine. But when it doesn't, which is most of the time, it's a real pain in the *** to try and hold the lever up while trying to step on hoop to release the bike. I do freelance product improvement evaluations and the potential design corrections are actually quite easy. Overall we still dig ours though! Oh, and WAY better in principal than those goofy "rocker" types. Yeah, try rocking your Ultra out of one of those, no thanks.
