Default Windshields and Rainx

Ok the rain has set in and I cant see crap thru the windshield while it's raining.I can see where Rainx contains denatured alcohol probably not the best for plastic,Lexan,or what ever the stock Harley shields are made of. So who out there has the answer what will work like Rainx does on glass,on my windshield?
Has anyone ever tried some Rainx on the corner of a windshield?

I have used Novus 1 with pretty good results on mine.
I picked up a can of Plexus to try and haven't gotten caught in the rain since.
Supposedly the only manufacturer that I know of for using rainX is clearview.
Novus and Plexus are suppose to be "good" for the plastic that most manufacturers use.
I have heard you can use a non-cleaning wax like Carnuba with good results also.
I have not tried the wax though.

Find some Crystal Glo.
http://www.crystal-glo.com/usa/bike/products/2500/

Generous coating on the windscreen makes rain bead off, safe for everything else (paint, fibreglass, etc.)

Clearview Shields is the only maker that states you can use original formula RainX on their shields. Everyone else's will fog.

Try not riding int he rain, lol. Just kidding the pledge works pretty good on the shield, as it is lexan which makes rain-x fog up.
