Riding safe includes watching weather conditions. You're definitely NOT a wuss for doing exactly that. Like someone else said, getting caught in the rain is one thing, intentionally riding into it when you have some options is another.... Not too bright if you ask me.

Hey if the other riders arent that comfy riding in the rain dont, they may do somthing to hurt you all. you mentioned the opposite sex, they might not be confident. Also if you can, go to the lelanaw or how ever you spell it, rode up there last weeek. great ride!

that's pretty much any summer afternoon weather in Florida. Use the right tool for the job. Rain Gear and goggles! And no hot doggin.

If you don't have to be somewhere at any certain time, wait it out. If you get caught in the rain while out and about, that's one thing but I rarely leave home on the bike when it is already raining.

I say if you can afford the time delay you mine as well hold off a bit. I don't going in the rain if it hits while I'm out, but starting out in the rain puts a damper on the whole day.

riding is supposed to be fun. riding in sheit weather isnt fun, it isnt safe. so why do it?
