Default Oil Coolers on baggers

Okay, another Newby question. I did a search and I couldn't find anything on oil coolers, I know if you increase engine displacement it is factory recomended that you add an oil cooler and/or upgrade kits come with oil coolers, but what is the best oil cooler for the money when adding one on a stock bore? Thanks

The HD one is good.

I have used Jagg (Deluxe version) on several bikes, including the one I am riding now.

Both are good and will give you ~30 degree reduction in oil temp.... good investment!

I have the HD Super Premium Oil Cooler Kit 62895-03A and it works well on my Road King. I do have a modified motor and the cooler drops temp about 20-30 degrees on the road. Helps slightly in traffic just due to out side the engine exposure but not much. Don't notice the cylinder head heat on my inner thighs as much with it. Expensive but remember 21% average at Zannoti's!!!

I use the HD SuperPremium oil cooler. Added the cover and it looks pretty good. Noticable difference in oil temp.

The Jagg Cooler is an excellent choice, but if you want something a little different look at this one from Merch

I forgot to mention, it also acts as a filter, with a bronze filter that can be cleaned and replaced. It also can be operated as a filter only in cold weather...just a quick turn of an allen wrench.
