My dealer didn't even sell the Standard. I guess the markup wasn't as much for the greedy bastard. LOL

If you like the looks of the Standard, by all means get it. I just liked the cleaner looks of the Street Glide and silver gauges, rear fender facia plus some other stuff. But I do like the pinstriping on the Standard.

The Flat Black (Denim) one rocks, if it just had celan fenders and not all those turn signal bars.
Wait a minute did I just describe the 2010 Road Glide?

 

ESC has the spot lights and bar, which the Glide doesn't....

I have a 2008 SG, you did not mention that the SG has a lower suspension. It limits high speed corners but ok with me. You can get different windshields (Clearview Shields.com) in Colorado, they offer seconds at a fraction of he cost.

 

I have a 1996 standard here it is before and after i still have a way to go but it gives you an idea of why we love the EGS

 

The ONLY thing I don't like about the EGS is the engine color, if they would have blacked that out it would have been the best bike!
