Default 2010 Road King Slip ons

I just bought my first New motorcycle, a 2010 RK classic. (I pick it up Friday) I do all my own work and I am wondering which exhaust pipes I should purchase. Of course I want that perfect combination of looks, performance and sound. Also, I want to "chop" the King. I plan on going to a 21 front and 18 back with Performance Machine wheels by next Spring and everything that isn't painted will be chromed.

Thank you.

You sound like a V&H Big Radius kind of person. Maybe I am wrong. I really like what I have. It has the perfect sound in my book. Just slip ons here but TD's may fit your desire's more. You would get rid off the cats that way. Aren't they in the '10s head pipe?

I was gonna suggest supertrapp SE's. I've got them on my 07 with the 103, and love the sound. However, supertrapp's website says they're for 95-09. What's changed in the '10 motors?

Default Same Motor

No changes from 09 to 10 as far as I know. 5th gear is now helical. Was going to buy an 09, but the 10 was the same price with discount.

The 2009 and earlier slip ons will fit the 2010 bike, however they will sound slighly quieter due to the catalyst in the 2010 headpipe.

I put Bub 7's on mine and I think they sound great - could be a little louder, but nice low rumble.

Default slipons

No Monster Ovals they are i have them on 08 Roadking classic and they sound low but nice but low not how a Harley should sound like... better choice Screaming Eagle slip one facing down or Samson slip on.

i honestly hate the monster ovals by Vance and hines...when out for a ride im the biggest bike with the lowest sound.

good luck

New heated 02 sensors, down by the tranny cover that says "Six Speed"

No ugly wires or bungs right by the heads any more, BUT, there's no power commanders or anything available yet....

Congrats on the new ride.
