Default Quick release thumb locks

...I am sure some of you out there have purchased the locking hardware for your detachables. If you have I am looking to buy the original black thumb latch that comes on the sissy bars and tour pack racks. If you have a set, then please let me know and maybe we can work out a deal.

Modes, i might still have my take-offs, let me check when i get home after work and i'll let you know. I know i kept them, now i just have to find them

I know that if i find them, all i have is the right side latch, as thats all i replaced with the locking version.

Great information, Dawg; especially since the instructions for the detachable racks say those latches are not available for separate purchase.

I needed a pair because I am going to see if I can change out the latch mechanisms on my Milwaukee Bagger two-up detachable tour pak rack and replace them with HD's latches. I purchased, for $10 (due to package damage), a pair of the locking latches w/keys from my local dealer, but it's nice to have another alternative.

That is my intention as well. Just don't want locks or lock prices. lol

Hey, thanks man. I don't care if they are new or used. I was informed like pingman, that they were not available for separate purchase. Another question for you is if they come with the mounting hardware or is it nothing special.

One is better than none, and Dawg supplied me with a number to get the other easy if no one else chimes in.

If you're talking about the 46063-00 HD Detachables lock and not just the latch, a Harley source told me the key and lock is very difficult to manipulate and does work very well.

No, I am looking for the non lock version that comes on the sissy bar or detachable toupack rack. But thanks for responding.
