You guys are merciless the way you jump to conclusions. For all you know, the guy could have had a legitimate reason for trailering the CVO SG.

Like taking it to the dealer to have the tire pressure checked.

 

Two words: Trophy Bike

 

My riding buddy just picked one up. It's a 10 SG in '****ed Rum'. He had an 05 RK and happened to be at the dealer looking for the 2010's SG's. None were on the floor because they still had some 09's they needed to move. One of the salesmen took him in back to show him the CVO SG. The rest is history. The color is better in person. My Ultra is Black Cherry, and the ****ed rum color is in the same family, but has a little more red in it. It's a sweet bike. Sorry but no pics at the moment. Kinda weird taking pics of his bike you know? (Like taking pics of his wife and publishing it).

It's a nice bike to say the least. The pieces they put on the CVO's (shifter pegs, brake pegs, etc) are heavy top-quality stuff. He says the ride is 'stiffer' than his RK, maybe due to the hydraulic shocks? He's offered to let me ride it, but no f*cking way. First, it his bike, and second I know if I rode it, I'd want the CVO Ultra. Ignorance is bliss ...

 

I saw one too about a week ago at a red light. By the time I hit 3rd gear he was in my rear view mirror quite a ways back. I wish he would have known he was spanked by a 98"

My brother and I got to thrash on some in Rapid City during the rally. It ran real nice for a stock bike.

 

Had a look at them in Rapid City, I was disappointed in the paint and some of the other things they did to them. Our group as a whole was not impressed. I was planning on buying one but thought I could do better with the 08 and the 15,000 difference.
