Smaller HD rider backrest
I've had about 6 people PM me in the last 2 days for info about my rider backrest. (you guys musta dug up an old thread or something) so Im gonna post this so everyone can read it.
The rider backrest on my bike is actually a take-off part from a 2008 CVO Road King. However, HD does sell several that are basically the same, just different stitch patterns. I like the smaller backrest because it does not crowd my wifes legs at all, which was always a problem with the full size HD backrests (tried both adjustable and NON adjustable) and the Mustang backrest I had.
The smaller HD model works great, works every bit as well for me as the larger ones did, and the wife does not loose any leg space.
