Default I want more lights on the rear...suggestions?

06 RK.

I was thinking about installing the HD Auxiliary Running Light / Brake Light / Turn Signal Conversion Kit. But I really don't want to give up the amber turn signals.

Is there a way to add some red auxiliary lights to the back of my bike, without losing my amber turn signals?

How about a pair of Hyperlites? They are super bright pods of red LED's that flash when you hit your brake. Mount 'em most anywhere, but I found the license plate bracket they offer a very good solution.
Everyone remarks how well they are seen........and that's the whole idea. Check their website.

I've seen several "remote" light kits lately.

You can try looking at http://www.whitehorsegear.com/ They have a few good options.

Hey! that was my first link!

HD also sells a set of turn signal mounts that have leds in them.

These are for an 02 RG but you get the idea LINK

An LED "card" (plugs into socket) in the the brake light... LED license plate frame, LED as you know will require less amps so you can run more stuff....

I have an additional bracket that connects to the license plate bracket that has two additional red lights. They are the same as the standard turn signal light but are red. So I've got tail/brake light, two additional tail/brake lights and amber turn signals as well as glow rails around the bottom of my hard bags. And I also have light kit on my tour pack which is not on bike most of the time. I'm well lit.

I suppose I could remove the tailight lens, but the bikes out there (it's raining), I'm here, and you're there so...

Is the brake light sinlge filament or dual to handle the runnign light and brake light?

I got the FM, but it's kind of hard for me to tell.

I want to add auxiliary running lights and a brake light and may just end up doign a license plate bracket as well.

I'd really like a high mount on the sissy bar, but the MoCos kit seem to oonly work on Softtail sissy bar.

Suppose I could roll my own but if do the license plate barcket thing will try to keep the bullet theme.

I dunno...still undecided.

I installed the HD LED light bar and the fender tip light. In addition, I converted the turn signals to red and added the Kuryakyn load equalizer. All my rear lights are running lights and blink four times when the brakes are applied and the turn signals retain their regular function. BTW, the LED light bar is not shown in this picture.

I added the crome lincense plate with the light strip on it that is a runing light as well as a brake light. Got it from J P Cycles.com.
