To the OP........why didnt you just use the bicycle pump?
Still an ingenious idea.
Personally I check and fill mine at home.

My problem is the rear wheel ang fitting my large hands between the disk rotor and the rim. Any ideas?

If you buy they compact Harley air compressor it comes with on.

I have the Harley one and it's a pain to try and screw on. The bicycle pump end clamps on and is much easier to work with.

Because you can't check the pressure with the bicycle pump and who wants to pump a tire by hand when you can use your air compressor. I think you missed the point.

Haven't tried it yet on my 2012 RKC but it looks okay for the job. In my view though, looking at the picture, it might have been better designed with a right angle connector to the tyre valve or even better, a rotatable connector so you could set it to the most comfortable angle. Anyway, I intend to buy one.

Default Here's my solution for spoked wheels

As anyone who has a touring bike with spokes knows, it's almost impossible to get air in the back tire. Not one of HD's better engineering idea's. I put this gauge together and had to grind the chuck down a bit to get it to fit and now it's pretty easy to get air into the tire. Those angled stems don't work at all for tube tires either.
