if it's still under warranty you might want to swing into your local dealership and have the guys check it out. you're having troubles with it, and just drop it in their lap. it could be something as dumb as a loose spark plug wire, or worse, like your ecm not working right. just explain to them the symptoms and they'll figure it out. hope you get it to where you can depend on your bike.

First off, you need to ride more! C'mon 37,000 on a bike that's a year or two old -- what kinda garage queen are you keeping there?

Secondly, seriously question any advice from engineers who can't distinguish between breaks (i.e., doesn't work) and brakes (the parts that help you stop). Yeah, I'll buy that bike with "none maintenance".

Sounds like the MoCo will do right by you. Sure, in a perfect world nothing mechanical or electrical would ever fail. Like the bumper sticker says "Poop occurs."
