Default Super Trapp Slip ons... anyone try??

Supertrapp now has slipons that fit the stock head pipes for baggers. I saw them in Sturgis and they look nice. They seem to also have infinite adjustment for sound based on adding or subtracting disks. Anyone have any first hand experience?? Sound, power??

Yes ,
I've used the SuperTrapp SE's and they made all the difference in the world, you could fell the torque difference. I highly recommend.

The next one's I want to try is their new Fat Shots (quiet as stock , adjustable if you wish and still can get the torque increase needed.

Been using the Supertrapp internal disc series mufflers for years. It is everything I want in a muffler for my Harley. Nice throaty tone, which is not loud. And yes can be tuned for performance and noise level.

I use the Supertrapp SE's and have since owning my bike. I adjust the tone with the twist of my wrist..................no disk required.

Yep, the fat shots... that's what I saw in Sturgis. I think I'm going to try a set!

They make a good deep exhaust sound.

I've had one kind or another of Supertrapp pipes on every Harley I've owned since 1991. Nice mellow, deep tone, quality construction and proven performance. There is always something trendier out there, but the Supertrapp disc system has been hard to beat for a long time. I'm kinda partial to the 2:1 systems. In the hands of a good dyno tuner they can provide some very good numbers with a flat torque curve. They are also very easy on the ears during a oong, long ride.

glad to hear... it seems like a good concept with a lot of flexibility on sound and loudness.

I've got a stage 3 Evo that had thunderheaders, I switched over to the Supertrapp Internal Disc slip on duals. I liked them because you can tune the exhaust to your preference. After the dyno re-tune my HP was identical at 87 to the TH's and I lost 5 tq. We could have gotten some of that back by making it louder.

The quality is good, the fit is good and I am very happy with them. The best part is that my ears don't hurt any more and I can hear the tunes.

I'll have nothing else... all the previous posters pretty much nailed it already. I'm so over loud pipes...
