WET A$$ with a Mustang Seat??? (male)

RE: WET A$$ with a Mustang Seat??? (male)
DIRECT RESPONSE FROM MUSTANG:
Dave,
We are not sure what might be causing the problem. Mustang seats are all
covered with the same vinyl. This vinyl is similar to the vinyl used on the
stock HD seats, but is of better quality. The stock seat is uncomfortable
because of the softness of the seat foam which allows you to sink down and
come into contact with the seat's baseplate. Our seats use a much firmer
foam which conforms better to the rider and does not compress which might
produce a more "air-tight" fit and this could be the problem. Unfortunately,
we do not have a solution to share with you.
We have had only a few complaints similar to yours over the years, but
mostly from customers in hot weather areas such as Arizona and Florida.
Sorry we cannot offer you any further help on this one.

Wet a$$, air-tight fit, comfort.... hmmmmmmmmm.
Sherlock Holmes wanted to know (not me ~ for God Sake!)... Does the "wetness" dry, "dry"? or does the "wetness" dry.... well... uhhh crusty? It was suggested that you may be enjoying that new Mustang seat so much that it's "wetness" of a ..... uhhh.... different sort(?)..... [sm=insomnia.gif]
I sure like my Mustang seat... In fact, I may have even said "I love my Mustang seat".... but it have never done that to (for) me!

[color=#FF0033] How about wearing a pair a chaps with nothing on underneath? Keep ur turd cutter kewl....
How bout a femine pad in the back to soak up the butt drool?
I like the cloth seats myself for that very reason. When I had the Wing, I had a Diamond/Harco cloth seat. Warm in the winter and cool in the summer.
Keep some butt wipes on the sled.
Wear boxers instead, cuts down on the friction/chafing and allows the junk to stay kewl--ler!
Just stop ridin.....move to Canada.....
I also like the butt bead seat cover which allows air to get between you and seat. Not bad, it works for me.
Later....go wipe! Wear depends if all else fails!

I have the same problem. I bought a Mustang seat at Daytona and rode it home 750 miles in one day and loved it. I have a HD leather Sidekick that stays on my bike except for trips of 200 miles or more. Last weekend before I rode down to the blowout in Gulfport MS,I put the Mustang on for the first time since the weather has gotten hot and muggy. By the time I got to Gulfport (150 miles) was *** was soaking wet. I wear Wranglers and don't own underwear. I am putting the seat on HD Forums classifieds as soon as I can get some pictures. I think it all the depends on the person. I have friends that love them and never sweat a drop. I can wear a good leather boot all day long and my feet never sweat but if I wear a tennis shoe they sweat like a ***** in church on Sunday. I am either going with a Corbin or Danny Grey touring seat.
