robsteeler that's way too cool. your first bike and it's a big twin touring harley fricken davidson. man, that's great. with it being an 89 it's an evolution motor too. very neat. a very reliable motor too. i'm happy for you, your first thread/post also. remember, it's required that you get up at 2 in the morning and go out in the garage to make sure it's real and not just a dream. ride safe, and i'm sure we're all happy for you.

Hi all, I just bought my first bike. A 1989 Police Electra Glide. It was an Atlantic City police bike it has 33,000 miles and was repainted blue and silver. I saw the pop up bag openers to replace the hockey puck, I think I'll get them. It also has no emblems on it-does anyone know where to get the correct emblems for this bike?

Thanks guys, I'm cleaning out it's home(garage) now. I will post some pics as soon as I can find my camera. It's just awesome. I'm not a fan of the S&S carb, it runs a little rough. I might try another option. It's also nice to go for a ride by myself since, "as a newer rider I just don't feel safe with you on the bike honey."
