I've spoke with Justin also. He said once we get all 5 people comitted, we need to call him to process our orders. He is basing the 5 people off the list of names at the beginning of this post.

This is going to sound like a real dumb question, on my 09 Ultra, could I leave my bag guards on and run the longer bags? My plan was to switch out to the SG bag supports but just wondering if I use my existing set up? I searched the forum but nothing turned up Thanks.

The Pearl paints were always going to be more than Vivid Black.
I don’t see that as a problem. But I too, would like to know.

I hate to be a scaredy cat, but I am going to wait until I get some pictures and feedback from the 5 guys signed up. I feel confidant these are quality bags. I just want to see what a 3" bag looks like on the Street Glides.

Color me nervous. I've been waiting to do this for a year now.

As best I can measure, the bottom of the fender on a Street Glide is 3 ¼” lower than the stock bags. So I think a 3” bag will look great.

What a sweet option for stretched bags @ $700 price point between HD's bolt-ons (w/seams and no space) for $230 and the $1300 FLHTXSE bottoms.

I'll pass on them for now and get them later; prefer a nice stretched gas tank which won't be cheap!!!

Congrats to the organizer and the guys buying now. Can't wait for the pics after paint and installation.

My best guess is that it will work. the extra material is down not out. the under bag support is te same on all touring bikes

I've seen bag guards on stretched bags, not a good look IMHO
