Question vance & hines classic slip-ons too quiet

i just purchased vance and hines classic slipons and i like the sound they make when you roll on the throttle, but they are way too quiet. i know most of you guys try to keep things quiet, but i was just wondering if there was a way to make these louder. i tried taking the baffles out, and yes its alot louder, but it sounds crappy if you know what i mean. is there a way to modify the stock baffles or do something to make them louder, but sound good? thanks for the help. i hear alot of people buy the rush slipons with the 2.5 baffles and they are supposed to be loud, but i really dont want to spend the money again if i dont have to!

Default V/H volume

Hey Tim, dont have the V/H slipons yet but will add them soon. From what I have heard they will increase in volume over time. Not sure how much louder you want them but do a search and you may find some threads detailing what I have mentioned to you. Good luck.

My Rush 2.5s are not loud enough for me. I upgraded from the 2.0 baffles a few months ago. I must be getting used to them. Not loud enough when cruising. Only sound good to me when I twist the wick. I guess it's time to build up the motor with new cam gears.

I have the V&H classics also and was wondering the same thing, they do sound good when getting on it but kinda mellow just cruising. I only paid 150.00 for mine, so I might try the Jack Pots next.

I love mine. Yes, they have gotten louder with miles. Perfect for a touring bike IMO.

I have the basic slip-ons and they are louder than my buds rineharts. He has a 07 and I have a 09. Different head pipes.I want to go louder but the NY state police are bustin' ***** every chance they get it seams. If you roll up to a check point with a loud bike good luck.
