Default Polymer pad seat insert, Anyone have it?

Has any one put in or had installed in their seat one of these? Not the one that straps ontop but the insert. Did you like it? Did it improve your ride comfort?

Thanks for the input.

I had the butt buffer put in the passenger pillion a few years back. Don't do it, she was usually good for 1/2 ,45 min then brake for a few min and go again. With the butt buffer 20 min she was begging to get off, and didn't want to get back on she hurt for 2 days. I made the mistake of getting the pads put inside the seat. I'm sure they have made improvements since but i wouldn't bite, get some current feedback.

Just like everything else gel pads are not equal to one another. I have long been against them and actually started installing some but as I learned more about gel pads I would say my thinking has evolved over time. For the driver's seat, they work( the good gel pads)very well but for passenger seats I don't think gel pads are the way to go. I could go on for hours typing about this subject but for the passenger sections of the seat I always do everything I can to talk a customer out of putting a gel pad in it but the passenger seat being smaller than the driver seat it needs more cushion in my opinion and memory foam is the way to go back there..
