BUB 7 True Duals

From what I read on here, gunnert is right on. Everyone states that TDs will take away some low end torque unless you have the motor/cam to back it.
.....I like the fact that everyone thinks it looks like TDs. I promise it is not. I bought this new in April and I know for a fact it has the stock 09 head pipe for the reason above. I have also read on this forum that that stock 09 headpipe is very good. I like to read this forum for advice because I am not an expert on motors (I'm am an Information Security Engineer )
However, I am learning alot by doing my own work. I also have some friends that know quit a bit (you know....sometimes that helps...and sometimes it henders)

To answer the original sound question, my neighbor has Rineharts Slip-ons on his new '09 Ultra. He drilled some holes in the back of his AC and no electronic changes yet. Runs great and sounds absolutely awesome. Very quiet at idle with a very deep low rumble tone. Sounds to me like a Harley should sound, until he gets on it some!
Even though I have TDs, and love the Dual sound, I'd probably do a simliar set-up for mufflers, leave the HD headpipes on, and put a PC-V. Or something like that!

Bert, if your tuner is telling you Bub 7 True Dual Exhaust is not big enough for your 103 with Woods 6 cams then I suggest you find another tuner. Those cams make all their power on the low end and run completely out of steam before you hit 5500 rpm. You'd pick up quite a bit of power with a good 2-1 exhaust like Thunderheader or D&D Fatcat.
