Default Pigeon Forge/ Can u buy booze??

We are rolling down to Pigeon Forge this weekend. We rented a luxury log cabin for our accommodations. Gonna do some quality riding during the day, then park the bikes and get some much needed R&R at night (about 20 of us). This will include drinks with friends.

Question is, can u purchase hard liquor in Pigeon Forge? I heard its in a semi dry county?

I've been down there alot. I don't drink so I'm not one to notice Liquor Stores, I have not seen any, only by the drink in restaurants. I don't think you can purchase any hard liquor anywhere down there. As I said I really don't look for it so I very well may be wrong.

If memory serves correctly, that's 8 miles over a mountain or two... might want to try Sevierville.

It's been a while, but TN has a goofy law about beer/wine being able to sold in one store, but liquor is sold in other stores. Used to you couldn't even buy a soft drink to go with your liquor in the same store. That's been a while ago, so I don't know.

I just got back from there last Saturday. We had a House in Wear Valley, between Townsend and Pigeon Forge. The only booze store I found was in Marysville, TN, about 16-22 miles away. We took some from home to hold us over til we could find a store. Beer is everywhere. The booze store was well stocked and had no mixes.

Easy thing to do is stop on way back to cabin at a package store and get what you need forthe night. If you ride any length around the area you will find one. Usually only vist through Pigeon Forge as it gets a little crowded for my tastes but to each their own. But if looking to do the tourist thing then ya picked a good spot.
Ask the rental folks when you register for the cabin where to go, can't beat local knowledge.
