Gently pull throttle sensor out of bar until you see a little green clip. Disconnect that clip and pull the rest of the way out. Pull the other end out from the bottom of the bar. If internally wiring bars, 32310-08 sensor for internally wired bars works better because it doesn't have the green clip. Make a color chart for the wires to re-wire the connector. As for a tool, wrap in electrical tape and use some lube like WD-40 and tie a nut on a string to get through the bar, then tie the other end to the wires and pull them through.

Dealer will have/can order the 32310-08. You will need to take the pins out of the connector using a paper clip or similar tool, then wrap the pins in electrical tap and pull them through the new bar. Then reinstall in the connector

What is the purpose of having this kit? Is it needed?
