difference between electraglide classic and ultra?

My '09 SG came with a tool kit. I think the Ultra is geared more toward 2 up and/or group riding. The Classic is a good bang for the buck, but not as equipped and alot of the extras can be added. It just depends on what you want to add and how much it costs versus the price difference in the two.

All the extra's have been named. I have added most of the stuff to my classic over time, so you may find a classic converted or close to an Ultra. Price wise on the Used as others have said they are closer than when new. I would buy the Ultra if I were in your shoes.

I like the visibility of the extra lights on the tourpak stock with the Ultra, so I had to add those to my bike.

The charging system is the same....50 amps.
