OK. Will try to find out cause I'm sure you can't tell anything by looking at the motor.

My bad. I thought I had read somewhere that the ann. bikes came standard with the 95
H-D put the 95" engine in the 15th anniversary Fat Boy model (2005 model year). This may be where the confusion is coming from.

they were all 88's. the pain and emblems were the only distinguishing features. you could get them as a 95 from the harley shop if you got the kit installed. other than that, it's an 88

Yea, what the others said about the '05 Fatboy with a 95ci in it and all '03's being 88's except the CVO's were 103's. That being said, the bump up from the 88 was to a 95. Had this done to my '03 Fatboy. Made a HUGE difference. 103hp, 99 ft lbs torque. had the SE HTTC heads, S&S gear drive cams, V&H two into one and more. Very strong. A stock 103 couldn't touch it, and I would bet the newer stock 110 wouldn't stay with it either. shoulda kept it but moved on to an '07 GeezerGlide with a 103 upgrade. Comfort and joy.....PACO

CVO Touring or 88's were able to go to 103. The Softtail or 88B's, because of the counter balancers, could only get to 95 at the time.

It wasn't til a few years later with the fatboy CVO, that the motor on the B's could match the A's
