Default Kuryakyn Windshield - Road Glide

I did a search on this, but there wasn't much info as of the latest posts I could find. Does anybody here have the new Kuryakyn windshield on their Road Glide? It looks like it comes back further than the stock, plus it has a nice shape to it. Any comments on your experiences would be much appreciated.

I can't see anywhere exactly how tall it is. I had a 13" HD screen on my 04, got a lot of buffeting as I'm 6'4". I now have a Memphis Shades 17", much better but the quality is only so so. I'm told the Cee Bailey is good.

Bumping the thread back to the first page. You can't just use 'bump' because there aren't enough words with that.

I'm another one interested in this screen or anything else that works on the Road Glide... that I can see over. I have a 09 RG, stock seat, no lowers(as yet).
I have tried 2 different Clearview screens... currently using the GT large which is 2" over stock. I just went out and looked at how far back in comes towards the rider compared to the picture on the Kur site. It(clearview) comes back a lot more... but I still have some buffeting in strong wind. I'm 5'11" 32" inseam... Road yesterday from Dallas down to West on I35, south winds 20-25, speed 70 mph... got a lot of turbulence unless I hunched down a little or moved forward closer to the screen... return trip was quite. In fact the current screen works well when the winds are light. I'll stop whining... yes I know it's a motorcycle.

Going to the dealership today and look at the '10 road glide to see how the short screen works on that bike. Wind I can handle, but not the buffeting --Bill

I'm with you on the wind but not the buffeting. My new RG will have lowers, so I'll report back how the buffeting is after I pick it up this weekend. As for the windshield, I'm leaning towards a Cee Baily's, but would like some input on the Kury if anybody has one.

Here is a copy and paste from an email I received today from Kuryakyn.

Hello Rob,

Our measurements on the 1364 windshields are:

21” from center bolt to top, 14” from base to top (picture with measurements on page 172 in HD book)

I hope this information helps. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us.

Thank you,

If anybody knows what HD book she is talking about, please clue me in.
