09 and no delay for me either.

I did change my wiring so that the passing lamps are on all the time and don't turn off when I go to highbeam. Don't know if that would make a difference.

 

Thanks for the reply guys. I may have found the culprit, I think it was the headlight modulator, I took it out and will test ride it tonight to see, I do not know why that would cause it to do that unless it was a off brand modulator, I had a Kazan in my other bike and it did not do that. Thanks again
