Wild1inc 518 chubby RK II bar = EXCELLENT
I am very happy with my Chubby 518 RK II bar that I installed today, read what users have write about it on www.wild1inc.com and I agre that it is an excellent bar on a road king. I have it on my road king custom and even if the stock bar was ok for me this is like from an other planet.
Cheers all road king owners!

If you are not quite as tall you may want to try the 508's. I had 518 on my RK and they were a little too far forward for me (I'm 5'7") so I replaed them with the 508. The 508 comes back an 1 3/4" and is 3" narrower, but have the exact same look.

I'm 5-11, and the 508s would be pretty much the same pull-back as I have now. The 518s will stretch me out a little more, and aleviate some of the "wheelbarrow" position that I dislike with the stock bars. Just gotta take the time to install them.....

Gotcha, I did not know this, thanks. Pretty cool bars though and Im sure you will love them once installed. One thing I might add is follow Wild 1's install tips. I let the dealer I bought mine from talk me into the eurthane riser bushings and installed them against the advisement of the tips and like they said, the chrome cover will not fit because of the added thickness of the bushings puts the risers too high. I also went ahead and extended the wiring harness, throttle cables, and brake lines. LMK if you need any help.

I have all grips, wires and cables stock. the turn signal cables had to go on the outside and i strapped the right side along the brake line and at the left side along the clutch cable until it turns into the nacelle.
The i switshed the brake a trotle "lines" so that the trottle comes out of the nacelle on the top of the break line, by this the trottle cables will pass the tank lock when stearing right.
