2700 mile vacation on 2008 ultra classic

As soon as I redistributed kit through the boxes, and strapped the remaining stuff to the back seat all was well.
That said, I didn't change the suspension settings and don't know if that would have cured my initial problem.

We headed from the Memphis area to the left coast, up to Monterey, CA, to Yosemite, to Carson City, NV, across Hwy 50 to St George, UT, through Zion, then to Glenwood Springs, CO, across Independence Pass to Clayton, NM. The last day.... 950 miles home. Yes, it was a long day. The wide butt H-D solo seat w/backrest really helped.
I spoke with my H-D dealer about the 2010's the other day. I told him I have 9000 miles on the bike he sold me 7 months ago. He was surprised! Damn... I bought it to ride, not sit in the garage. Ride safe gang.
BTW, I did notice some low speed front wobble (around 20 to 30 mph) if I didn't have at least one hand on the handlebars. Anybody experienced this before?

well just got back from the dragon and smokeys ,what a ride .rode there from st.louis ,then to mean city cycles ,then to charleston s.carolina .great ride ,2700 miles in 8 days ,stayed 2 days in nashville tenn and 2 in charleston. smokies were great . dragon and all the roads leading to it were fantastic . bike ran good but a little under powered and my butt is real sore . i dont no what alot of you guys are talking about a rear end wobble .never felt it on mine .
Did you have work done at MeanCity while you waited? Just wondering if I could schedule something next time I'm down that way to save on shipping.

I must be lucky, no high speed wobble on my 08 SG. Averaging 20K per year, mixed touring and local riding miles. Lot's of riding in curves at a very quick pace.
I am like you, I need to improve my seat for the long hauls. I will try the beads first, they just look like they would wear the surface of your seat.
