I also have the 2010 SG and I'm really confused on the exhaust. I really can't afford to do the true duals for it yet, I'm unemployed and really was a stretch to get my glide, but I truly love it. Thing is the 2:1 Exhaust is weak, and I would like it to sound like well sorta like a Harley....I know that's so sterotyping the bikes cos they don't all sound the same, but relative to the good harley sound. Can I drill out the end of my pipe and get better sound? Or can I just take out the entire baffles? I really don't know what to do, I looked on Harley's site and they have a new Screaming Eagle 2:1 slip On and it's like 249.00 but it looks like a can sticking out of a slash pipe with screws all around the perimeter....Anyone have any ideas? I love my bike, even stock, but my wife is mad cos I can sneak in on her now and the dog and the kid so everyone is pissed.....I need that 3 tier meet & greet i used to get when I was a half mile away...lololol, course I had a deuce with a 95" SE 251 cam and it seemed to help with the d&d fatcat too....anyhow some ideas would be awesome.

 

Jamie from FuelMoto reported that ALL 2010s have catalyst in the head pipes. So they are developing an aftermarket replacement headpipe set up.

I wonder if the cat is changing the sound?

The only thing I don't like with the 2010s is the single exhaust. They could at least make it optional!
