Get them to throw in 1000 mile service. That will save you about $300. Also get them to throw in 10-20% off all parts and accessories you may want for 30 days. With that discount you can get a service manual and do all the rest of the services yourself. That will save you even more money in the long run. Good Luck!

Why is that?

Never had any problem with credit purchase--- don't see why cash is better--- assuming that you are pre-approved--- my credit union just sends them a check--- or will give me the check for the purchase price to hand deliver--

Some dealers that work with my credit union will even give you a slight break, and the credit union gives you a half-point for dealing with them (just for cars, not bikes)

don't get it--- please enlighten me---

Just remember that in today’s market you are a minority…a cash buyer that’s willing and able to spent money! They already know this but you have to let them know that you are well aware of your unique status and if they aren’t willing to significantly discount off MSRP …you are walking!

Times are tough and there are many dealers doing deep discounts to reduce floor planning costs! Call 3 dealers out of the area on the phone and get competive prices.

Take off your G. Anderson relocator kit and sell it to me if it will fit an 08 Ultra

Oh yeah go for the stars $3K off MSRP, disount on parts and no labor on putting on those parts purchased that day, 1000 mile service, two free t-shirts and everytime you walk in the shop in the future that they call you by name.

The local dealer here is doing 4.99% financing on 09 bikes on their website. That is not a bad rate for a motorcycle loan. It might be worth asking about. Under MSRP, no fees and a good rate sounds like a deal to me.
