Default Chubby wid 1 508's on 09 Road King Classic

Any of you guys change out your stock bars for the 508's on your 09, and did you need to extend cables, TBW, ABS, clutch, brake) Did a search and one guy said he did,and no extentions were needed, but I think he had a RK custom with beach bars standard, so that would make sense.

If you have ABS brakes you will need to buy a longer brake line that goes from the handle bar to the ABS module. The stock ABS line is NOT long enough to fit with the 508 bars. Harley does NOT sell one long enough. You will have to go to Goodridge or somebody else to get one. It's a line kit. Expect to pay over $250. Also, you will probably have to remove the tank and nacille to feed the line back to the module.

I almost did on my 07 RKC. Instead, I went with RK beach bars. These pulled back farther and minimized the recabling. I really love em!
