Dito here...Why send money when you can save it. Front tire removel takes all of 15 minutes, take your old one off and take Cycle gear, tire was $109 + $25 for install = $134 compared to $225 + at the stealer. I'll save the money!!

Just put a new set of wheels on the bike and new shoes as well. Indy removed old wheels, removed the shoes from wheels and then mount, balance and install new wheels for a whopping total of $75. I was quite pleased.

That's very cheap! Many dealers like mine won't even do it if you don't buy the tire from them ($177 for an E3 rear), stating "insurance regulations," which is bogus. If I had that deal I might not DIY like I've been doing for the past five years. Well, the truth is that being a cheap bastard I would probably still do it myself.

Local dealer is .7 hours for the front and 1.1 for the rear. Half an hour per tire if you bring the just the wheel in.

I bought a phuenic tire change 5 years ago and it has paided for its self. I have change about 15 sets of tires in that time. I get $25 for two if the bring them in or $50 if I have to remove and reinstall. Thats just my friends in the middle of nowhere.

Have you tried Classic Iron? They're a half-mile north of East Coast HD on the right.

Don't think HD would have done that for me....................

Ya might want to check out Deoxit for connectors that aren't subject to submersion or constant water contact.

My local indy charges 177 to change tires if you bring your tires in, and theres no warranty. I think thats more than the dealer. I might just get me a tire changer and start doing it myself.
