Seen that some of you guys have put Road King Classic Saddle bags on Electra Glides. Will a Road King Custom saddle bag work as well. If so, have a couple more questions. Will a half helmet fit in the bag. Will the optional lock for the bags fit with saddle bag filler strips.

half helmet fits in mine no problem.
Are you talking about the filler strips that go between the bag and fender? If so, Iam not sure as I don't have them. But the lockset sits 2 1/2" back from the top lip of the bag.
