On my 07 EGC I was able to access the acc switch wire from under the fairing. Just reach in and get them. I don't recall which wire colour but the schematic in the Service Manual will tell you which wire is switched. I peeled back the insulation and soldered my new wire there and used shrink type insulation. In my case it was to wire the driving lamps so they are on all the time and thus not off when high beams are on. Hope this helps!

Does the HD running lights fit on a RG??? I was told they would not because of the fairing brace.

Wired my fog lamps under the fairing and so I could turn them on with high or low beam.

Yep to all the above, plus:

Consider doing like me and wiring the fogs to come on only on high beam.

Picture this, you are driving in traffic and you see all sorts of folks looking to enter the roadway in front of you or turn in front of you, right?

Well, if you wire the fogs to lite on high beam, and your passing lights are already wired to work only on low, then all ya gotta do is flip the hi/low switch and those gagers can't help but notice that rapid up/dowm wigwag....you should see their heads snap and focus on me when I flip the lights as I get to that critical place where if unnoticed I'd get splattered.

When installing, simply forego the supplied switch and wire them into your unused acc switch on the right side of nacelle...then leave both switches up while driving and the handlebar hi/low will cause them to alternate when switching from hi to low and also meet all lighting laws.

I had them Dealer installed when I first got the bike so, I can't help with install info. But,, I can tell you that I had them wired to be on with high or low beam and that the cars really seem to notice.
