Hey guys I need some opinions, I want to sell of the Harley 16'' Detonator Three Spoke wheels that are currently on my Street Glide. What would you guys say fair market value is on them. They will be sold with rubber on both and two matching brake rotors for the front. I have about $3000.00 tied up in them between the wheels, rotors, and rubber. With the market trend really being 21/18's anymore i'm not sure what a fair price would be. Let's get some opinions.

 

well the wheels reatailed for $2000 a set and had problems with lousy chrome. would look great powdercoated black if anybody wants a set for $500 I'll ship em free

 

I love those wheels, but the crappy chrome on them was a huge let down.

maine ultra, I loved the wheels also,picked up a set from a friend and was going to get em powder coated black to match my bike, but I'm planning on picking up a 09 or 10 and the wheels won't fit on new bike, they are structurally perfect with bearings, might look good painted or powdered black with red on the recesses to match your bike or all black, if interested $500 shipped in the us I paid him $500 but will eat the shipping.

 

Hmm i never knew they were "notorious" for flaking chrome, mine are in great shape with no chrome missing or flaking.

 

Ebay will bring the highest amount of money on stuff like this.

 

Ok, i'm not looking for the highest amount, all I simply did was ask what people think their value may be ( i.e. what they may be worth) Didn't relize what I asked was rocket science, or so difficult to understand.

 

Seems the going price is only about $500, though you might do a little better on E-Bay. Good luck. Doesn't seem like rocket science to me either, but why are you getting pizzy when people tell you what they think? Maybe you don't like the answer because you've got 3k tied up into some crap that's not worth that much? Maybe you should have done the research before you bought them, rather than when you're trying to get rid of 'em.
