The sweeper bars designed for TBW, have the cutout for the TBW wires to pass through, along with the hand control wires if you choose to go that route.

Doing the labor yourself, you could get away with a cost right around $100 for the bars and clutch cable.

Default Handlebars upgrade

I went with apes so I can't comment on the sweeps... BUT I purchased all the lines from hdbikeparts.com and was real happy with them and a buddy and I did the labor minus the time it took it wasn't rocket science. I know there are posts outlining how it is done. There is no way it is worth what the steelers are asking for the labor/parts etc. Plus I hear there is a month wait for clutch cables from Barnett.

My $.02.

I believe the bars are about $70-80 now. Were $63 when I bought them and the clutch cable retails for $33. You will also need a tranny side cover gasket for another $5-7. With the 09's it is my understanding you can just move a heat shield instead of dropping the exhaust to get the tranny side cover off so you won't need any exhaust gaskets.

Rodan, I'm thinking about doing the sweepers on my 07 Ultra. Were you able to use your stock brake and throttle lines (did you have to reroute them?). Also, where did you get the longer clutch cable and do you have a pn?

When I did the sweepers on my 04 I replaced the clutch cable. The brake line was fine. I originally kept the stock throttle/idle cables, but I felt that it was a little to tight and made the throttle sticky for my liking so I changed them out. The pn# for the clutch cable for your 07 would be 38649-07. Unfortunately, the -98 works up to 06 and -08 works on 08 and later. For some reason the -07 cable retails for something like $80 and my -08 cable is like $33. In any event it is the HD +3 cable used on sidecars so if you cross reference it in Drag for a +3 cable for an 07 you could probably get it for $40

Thanks Dawg... +3 or +4 sounds like it would work... may look at braided cables.
