Sweet ride ditch..I know that bench in the background, spent a lot of time on it...you're gonna love it and as freaking hot as it was here today, if you like the temp of the bike it'll only get better...ride safe!
So how much did it cost to trade your 2007 ultra? with this 2010 ultra? I have the 2007 ultra with lo jack and glide-pro stablizer and other stuff. I am thinking of trading mine. Please let me know the price.

Nothing personal, but I don't discuss money deals, I was happy with the deal I got. Used bikes are not selling real well here right now, I could have got a more than I did if I could have sold it out right. It depends on the dealer. The ones I talked to in my area used the nada guide for the trade. And most of the dealers around here sell at MSRP.

Everywhere I looked quoted the trade right out of NADA as well, most were the same, nobody even looked at the bike. One was a serious low-ball and the place I'm buying did $1000 better than the rest. Stuff you leave on the bike rather than pulling it off and peddling it isn't worth a dime in the dealer's eyes, it MAY be an attention getter on the showroom floor. Not much migrates from the '07 to the '10 so I'm leaving a bunch of stuff on that wouldn't be worth the effort to remove.
My trade had worn out rubber front & rear and would need a 40k service when I trade it. I had to put fresh rubber on for a pre-trade trip, no way around it. My dealer is pretty flexible.... it's nice to be able to deal with the person who's name is over the door.... no sales managers or droids. I talked 'em into me pulling up to the door detailed and showroom-ready, good rubber, fresh service... and showed 'em on paper how they oughta be able to raise the trade allowance without it coming out of their pocket. So I ended up with an additional $500 and doing $1500 better than the next-best deal @ MSRP & free setup on the new bike. The other dealers were dealing on '09s too. I'm getting a '10 with this deal.
