If you want them a little louder, put true dual headers on your bike. That will kick it up a notch. It did on my bike.

I have true duals but my bike also has big bore kit with SE 203 cams!!!
I havent made to many long trips with it yet since I have done all this work but
The other day I took a 2 hour ride on interstate !!! I tell you I dont think I want them any louder!!!!
I did see a post a while back !!! A guy took his bike to get it dynoed !! When he got it back he said it seemed louder!!!! With further looking he found they punched holes
in the flat part of the inside of the muffler to get the sniffer in all the way!!
Well I was considering doing this to mine, but now im not sure!!!

Thanks for the feedback.
I have 7k miles on the bike, K & N filter, SE super pro tuner, dyno'd at 5k miles. MOs did get slightly louder with age, but no difference immediately after the dyno run.
The dyno results charted 75 HP and 83 ft lbs torque...I expected a higher torque measurement. AFR is good at 13:1 between 2.5K and 3.5k rpm.
This is a gain of 5 hp at the top end ( I will never realize it) and 3 ft lb torque over the base map loaded at the time of purchasing the bike. AFR read 13.5:1 baseline prior to tune.
If I had known how little gain/optimization the $400 dyno tune would yield, I would have saved my money. I used an indy that makes his living with the dyno...he has a good reputation.
