I wouldn't trade my MO's for anything. Swapped a set of Hookers for these, calmed my ears ringing after a long ride. As to loud, get behind one or drive through a tunnel, they talk plenty to the bystander and not so severe on the rider.

emwolb: I hit the floorboards, but not the pipes. If you lay the bike over to where the engine guard touches the ground, the bottom of the mufflers (heat shield)will make contact with the ground.

bartb1200: Could you measure from the end of the muffler to the point of drilling, so I understand the location of the hole? One hole on each muffler, right? Have you noticed any change in the performance of your scooter? Thanks.
