I like the looks of that seat. It looks like they gave you some more leg room and stepped the back up a little steeper. How tall are you?

Everyone's taste seems to be a bit different but I did not care for the Ultra seat. I traded a fellow forum member my RG for his Ultra; it moved me to far forward and I didn't like the seating position. Traded another member the Ultra for the the stock RG. The seat I use 99% of the time is a mustang solo with backrest and passenger pad when needed. Much better than either for long rides.

I went with the pillow look Ultra seat on my RG. It seems to sit a little lower and provides a better bucket for my butt.

I had a Ultra seat with back rest on my 09 RG.

I sent it out to Russell Day-long and had it redone.

The stock ultra seat wasn't bad.But like the name says. You can last on the day long. All day long.
Best money I spent on the whole bike.

nskitts........I'm 6'3" / 6'4" and @ 245 lbs.
Allen and his boys cut and contoured my seat to
move me back away from the tank, they also 'scooped out'
the tailbone area to give it the bucket comfort factor, and
narrowed the nose to relieve the inner thigh chaffing.
And it was all repacked with memory foam........

Give them boys at MCC a call....they did good work for my situation.

P.S. .......the passenger section has the 'double memory foam',
this raises her up another 2" from standard heighth.

I had an Ultra seat on my '08 Road Glide and found it very comfortable. But it looks pretty funky without the Tour-Pak, so I ended up trading it for a Mustang Regal. The Ultra is a great choice if you don't mind its appearance without the Tour-Pak - for me it's more comfortable than the Mustang.

Compared to the stock Road Glide seat, it raised me up and forward a bit.

put a streetglide seat on it, then go out for a ride. whatever you replace the streetglide seat with will feel like you're sitting on a cloud after riding on that horrible streetglide seat. i'm using a roadglide seat on my 08 streetglide. roadglide seats are comfortable, and don't look dorky like the sundowner.
