2010 Ultra classic Limited in Missouri $28,000 which included new intake, V&H Giant Oval slip ons, stage one tuner, 8" smoked windshield and a couple other little goodies. After hearing there is a catalytic converter in the head pipes I'm wounering if I should have changed them too. Might wait till after warrantee is up and then add them.

Las Vegas Harley said they wanted 28.5k out the door WITHOUT sales tax. What ever they're smoking I want in!

That's great - but it comes down to a simple arguement of supply and demand. Maybe in PA there's not a lot of demand right now - especially given the crappy economy (and let's face it PA is in the proverbial toilet). Unfortunately in other parts of the country there's still a relatively robust demand. Dealers are going to get whatever the market will sustain - so in many ways you're right. If everyone else would just stop buying and let me pick one up cheap that'd be great. Unfortunately it doesn't work that way - and besides H-D wouldn't be in business if it did.

I paid 220 in prep and 50 in doc fees (both bogus charges). Does this make me an "***"? I don't think so. It's the cheapest deal I could get within a 100 mile radius - and you can be damned sure someone else in line would have paid the same or more. Take a look at what Las Vegas wanted! (name em and shame em).

Custom colors are available on the Limited. I am getting 2 Merlot in Jan. Mine are standard priced $25425.00 OTD before tax and license. MSRP for standard two tone is $24699.00.

Went to the local dealer last weekend to hopefully see a Limited. The salesman told me they are selling them as quick as they hit the showroom floor. They sold 2 in one day in less than 3 hours on the floor.
He said he could order what I wanted, but I would like to at least see and touch one first.

Only problem is that color has been pushed back to November so it looks like probably December before I can get one.....but suffice to say it looks like I'll be makin' a road trip in December
Added 2K in parts to my Merlot/Cherry red FLHTK. OTD cost me 28,8xx. So about the same that you paid (26,883). Mine ships Monday and should be here early January.

MSRP ! $24,699 w/o ship and prep....and tax included.
trade 07 Ultra for a 10 Limited for $10,320 difference out the door.

Showed 16K plus for the trade but really got 14,379, but once the paperwork
showed the prep and freight, doc fees etc the trade showed above 16K.

I'm happy! And for he record the Limited is well worth the $ !
