Has anybody installed a HD cooler on an older bagger? 2000 FLHT. Tried to assemble the oil filter with the adapter plate for the cooler installed, instructions are unclear. Looks like a wired sensor (cam sensor?) off the motor interferes with the oil filter.

 

Interesting, I have a 00EGC and noticed after some engine work and exhaust this past winter the bike is running much hotter (oil temp gauge installed) than it used to, I was also thinking of putting on a oil cooler?? Which oil cooler did you purchase.
