I'm looking to buy a Carbon Fiber Polo Style DOT Motorcycle Helmet. Can anyone tell me what they have and what they like or don't like about their carbon fiber helmet. I'm looking at Daytona Hawk Carbon Fiber helmet and Advance Carbon composites helmet....Thanks

 

I went through ACC. I picked up the DOT extended half. Great helmet and fast shipping. Probably going to pick up one of the Novelty Troopers pretty quick too.

 

I went to the ACC office in Orlando last week. I need XL and was told 6 weeks right now. Thought I'd walk in and walk out with one. Just a FYI. They might have smaller sizes in stock.

 

I have had my wife an acc dot ordered for about 4-5 weeks now. There was about a 3 week period were they would not take orders for DOT because of some material change and having to wait on new tests for the material.

 

I have one of the carbon fiber helmets from ACC and love the light weight. They happened to have one in my size when I called.

 

My wife and I have a pair of extended half ACC helmets. They are high quality, good looking helmets. They are as comfortable as any helmet I have ever worn and by far the lightest I have ever worn.

I still have a problem with the wind wanting to pull the helmet back, but that's not the helmet's fault.

I wish they sold ACC up here in the Toronto area.
I had to buy the "other" helmet recently.

I got the Polo version and way more than happy with it.
I got the ear flaps option with mine.

There was a guy on here selling his not too long ago. Might want to do a search and see if it's still for sale. He was selling it becuase he wanted to ride with a headset.
