Default Help

I have a question to ask. I have a 06 Heritage softail that I bought new It came with stock dunlap tires have 9000 miles on them time for new ones .Can I go with dunlap elite 3 tires ? My front tire is a 130/90/16 OEM and my back tire is a 150/80/16 OEM.they tell me the elite 3 the sizes are MT/90b/16 is for the front tire and the back tire is 160/80b/16 the b means bias ply which is what I want for a heavy bike , But the harley shop tells me that the elite 3 back tire 160/80b/16 will not fit they say it is too wide. Can you help me please ? thanks , Jerry PS. Elite 3 don't make a 150/80b/16

Got my bike back today with Avon Venoms, Took a bunch of twisties on the way home and it was tight as can be. I'm very impressed. My Indy dismounted the old 402's, mounted and balanced the Avons and put new rear breaks on. Total cost: $144.99. Is that a deal or what?

Did my first considerable ride today with the EIII's ...550 miles , Mix Intersate, back roads, hard twisties and rough roads twisties and then 50 miles on the Parkway...Tracks very well and turns better than D402, Michelin Commander or Avon Venon X in my opinion...3000 miles on them now...i am quite sure i will like them for the rest of the way..they still look new.

I'm sure they're great tires, but I'm really enjoying my Avon Venoms!

Gunner, i liked the Avons but putting about 20k miles a year on the bike i only got about 6k mile on them so it would cost too much to run them... This is my first set of EIII's and if they don't work out i will probably got back to D402 which i got about 8500 miles. Overall bang for the buck is what i am looking for with performance.
